The Brexit Consortium

ONLY two things in life, it is claimed, are certain: death and taxes. To those two certainties we must, for now, add a third: Brexit.

Over the last 5 months, the DigitalParade team have been working on a campaign for our client, Graebel, titled ‘The Brexit Consortium', which seeks to examine the impact of Brexit on Global Mobility planning, delving into the specifics on related topics such as: Relocation, Tax, Immigration and Employment Law.

Industry expert partners were on-boarded to represent each topic and together with Graebel, PwC, Berry Appleman & Leiden and DLA Piper, The Brexit Consortium was formed. Adding even more punch to proceedings, Lord Callanan and Gareth Johnson MP, both from the Department for Exiting the European Union, opened and hosted the event which took place at the House of Commons in London (where else for this topic)?

After months of strategy, branding, content creation, developing social media buzz and genuine thought leadership pieces, the stage was set. for the event to crescendo the campaign on the 15th of May.

What was achieved?

  • A sold out event with registrations coming in until the last day
  • A record breaking attendance for an insideMOBILTIY event
  • Participation from the Government by Lord Callanan and Gareth Johnson MP
  • A wealth of video content was captured - all to be distilled into a video from the event and future outreach collateral
  • Fantastic organic engagement on LinkedIn … the ‘un-social social network’ #IMBrexit

Following the panel discussion, attendees were whisked off for an extended and exclusive tour of the House of Commons, led by Gareth Johnson MP.

We conducted interviews with the panel and attendees alike on College Green, favoured shot location for all major broadcasters covering Parliamentary events, to collect their thoughts and takeaways from the highly praised event.

As the sun set over the Palace of Westminster, on what was a very hot day in terms of temperature and topic of discussion, we wrapped production and headed for some European imported beers… while they’re still affordable!
